SAIDE Mobile Library was in Madegwa Primary to give out past papers to the Standard 7 & 8 students. The students were enthusiastic and were looking forward to the next week for more materials. The teachers were very positive about the initiative.
SAIDE Youth
On 19th May 2012, the youth of SAIDE Community cleaned up Chavakali Market with the help of a few community members. They instilled a sense of responsibility among the market traders and the challenged the Municipal Council to up their service delivery.
SAIDE Women
The women members of SAIDE Community were in Kisatiru Primary to donate pads to Standard 7 & 8 students. They also talked to the girls on issues affecting their health, sexuality and motivated them to improve their academic performance.
Book donations
_SAIDE received four cartons of primary school curriculum books from
Kenya Literature Bureau. The books have really helped the kids in the
community because they now have more material than what is available in
school.
